Arizona Indigenous Culinary Experience Announces
"Architecture of Indigenous Flavor and Fashion" at Taliesin West
Immersive evening of Indigenous Arizona foodways, Native fashion, and cultural immersion to take place during Native American Heritage Month
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The Arizona Indigenous Culinary Experience will present Architecture of Indigenous Flavor and Fashion at Taliesin West, an immersive cultural event that brings together Indigenous chefs, foodways keepers, and Native fashion designers for an evening centered on taste, design, land, and cultural continuity.
Presented during Native American Heritage Month, the program will feature curated tasting stations, live demonstrations, and a dynamic fashion showcase that highlights Indigenous creativity, innovation, and connection to ancestral lands.
Set at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, the event pairs Indigenous Arizona foodways and Native design with one of the most significant architectural sites in the American Southwest. Taliesin West—which is stewarded and cared for by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation—was Wright's desert laboratory and winter home and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site closely connected to the Sonoran Desert landscape.
The event expands the Arizona Indigenous Culinary Experience platform by formally integrating a Native fashion presentation alongside its culinary programming. The program is designed to be immersive, place-based, and distinctly rooted in Indigenous Arizona.
